Easter is the most important festival of the Christian year, when the resurrection of Jesus is celebrated on Easter Sunday. It falls on a different Sunday each spring, between late March and late April, and for many families it is a long weekend of church, lunch and chocolate eggs.
The flowers for the house are the spring market at its best: tulips, ranunculus, narcissi and blossom in a bunch or a jar, or hyacinths and bulbs planted to keep going for weeks. White lilies are the flower most linked with Easter.
