Flowers to say get well

Get-well flowers are for the windowsill: something bright enough to notice from the bed and easy to look after by whoever is doing the looking after. Sunflowers, gerbera and alstroemeria are cheerful and long-lasting; a planted bowl needs nothing but a little water. Keep scent light for somebody who is unwell, and skip lilies altogether where there is a cat in the house.

If the person is in hospital, ask us before ordering. The hospital at Pembury and the wards elsewhere differ on what they will take, and flowers that cannot be delivered are no comfort to anybody. Sent to the house, the van has them there the same day across Sevenoaks and Tonbridge (Tunbridge Wells the next day), with a card written by hand.
