About delivering in Shoreham

Shoreham is further up the Darent valley beyond Otford, a village of flint and brick with the chalk cross cut into the hillside above it and the Darent Valley Path running through. It is the far end of the valley run, reached along the A225 through Otford, so it goes out on the same round. Postcodes are TN14, delivered at the Sevenoaks & villages charge.

How the Shoreham round works

Shoreham is in the Sevenoaks & villages delivery area, which the van covers for £7.95 a delivery. The TN14 district also takes in Otford, Halstead and Knockholt, and the van usually does them on the same run. The rest of the Sevenoaks round (Sevenoaks, Riverhead, Dunton Green, Kemsing, Seal and Borough Green and the villages between) is on the same run, so a bunch for a neighbour is one order rather than two.

Order before 11:00 on a delivery day and the flowers for Shoreham are delivered the same day; after the cut-off they go on the next run. The van goes out Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and anything can be collected from the counter in Blighs Meadow instead. Every bunch is made to order with flowers fresh from the auction, the card is written by hand, and if nobody is in the driver leaves it somewhere safe and dry and lets you know where.
